Mental Health & Wellbeing Support for Young People
At RISE Young Minds Sanctuary we empower young people aged 8–17 to improve their mental wellbeing through early intervention. We combine holistic therapies like Reiki and mindfulness with evidence-based approaches such as CBT and EMDR. We provide a safe, non-clinical space that promotes resilience, emotional regulation and recovery helping young people thrive.

About Us

''We both had noticed a need within our daily roles, specifically around the approach and practices supporting young people with their own mental health...''

''...United by shared passions for empowering young people to improve their mental health, we have remained close friends and now we're committed partners, we have since combined our professional experiences with our vision and we are both overjoyed to have co-founded

Our Services
1-2-1 Sessions & Group Workshops

Reiki Healing
It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve low mood, and support better sleep. The practitioner can use light touch or hands off techniques.
Sessions can always be adapted to suit the needs and comfort of the young person.

Eye Movement, Desensitisation & Reprocessing
EMDR helps reduce the emotional impact of flashbacks, distressing memories and upsetting thoughts, that can lead to anxiety, low mood and phobias.

Bilateral stimulation such as eye movements, are used to help process the memories more effectively.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT helps young people make links between their thoughts feelings and behaviours. At times unhelpful thoughts can take over and impact on how we feel and behave.
CBT helps identify these patterns, challenges them, whilst learning new strategies to manage.

Group Workshops
Child-informed, creative, and closely connected to nature which is central to our ethos, the focus is on recognising and understanding our emotions and developing practical coping skills to help young people thrive.
Sessions may include grounding exercises, breathing techniques, meditation, and Reiki. (workshops are limited to 10 spaces)

Referral Only
Each referral is carefully reviewed to provide the right support for each young person.

Sometimes we may signpost you on to another more suitable service, if this is the case we will support and guide you towards that option.

If your child is already open to another service, then with your consent, we will consult with that team and decide if accessing support from both services is appropriate.
